A Paramedic visits Nursery
Paramedic John visited us at Nursery today with his ambulance. He told us all about his job, when we might need an ambulance and the number we call if we need an ambulance. He showed us lots of the equipment in his ambulance bag and in the ambulance. Mrs Young was one of his patients and he checked her blood pressure, heart rate and oxygen level. She was very healthy! He checked some of our oxygen levels and pulse too. We got to go inside the ambulance and went up on the lift. There were some patients in the ambulance that needed some oxygen and a sick bag. The sirens on the ambulance were very loud and we got to see the flashing blue lights. We know when we hear this sound that there is an emergency. Thank you so much Paramedic John for visiting us today at Nursery and giving us some of your ambulance equipment for our own Nursery Hospital.
