Ancient Egyptions - P.5.
Our World Around Us topic at the moment is the Ancient Egyptians. So far, we have designed our own Egyptian posters, highlighting all of the different tourist attractions in Egypt, we have used Egyptian hieroglyphs to write our names onto bookmarks and in art, we have been creating Egyptian necklaces and we have been using pastilles to draw Egyptian pyramids and Egyptian masks. We also planted some bulbs - half of the class planted their bulb in soil and the other half planted their bulb in sand. We want to discover which plants will grow better, to help us understand why Ancient Egyptian homes were located close to the River Nile - make sure to check back to see the results of our experiment and keep up to date with all of the things that we will be learning about Ancient Egypt!
