In World Around Us, we have been learning all about animals that live in the Arctic. We were learning all about polar bears and how their white fur helps them to be camouflaged in the snow. Today in Forest School we took it in turns to be badgers and worms. The worms hid their black and red pipe cleaners around the forest for the badgers to find. We realised that, whilst the red ones were easy to find, the black ones were much more difficult! This helped us understand what it means for animals to be camouflaged in their environments.
