We have been doing lots of activities to improve our fine motor skills in Primary 1. We were picking up pom-poms with clothes pegs, painting with cotton buds, transferring water in pipettes and tracing with paintbrushes in salt. These activities will strengthen our finger muscles which will help us hold our pencils correctly as we begin to learn how to write!
