Firefighters visit Nursery
8th May 2018
The boys and girls at Nursery had a special visit today from some firefighters and their fire engine. At Nursery we have learnt all about people who help us and one person who helps us is a firefighter.
The firefighters told us all about their job and how they save people, the equipment they use, their protective clothing and how we can all stay safe.
We got to sit in the fire engine, try on the protective clothing and use the big hose to spray water. The firefighters turned the sirens and blue flashing lights on. They were very loud! We had to cover our ears.
