‘Museums on the move’ joined us again today on Microsoft Teams to give us more information about the famine in Ireland. We learned all about emigration to America and what conditions were like on the coffin ships. The lady then wanted to know what we had found out about the remaining artefacts in the box, so a selection of us told her what we had found out and showed her drawings we had completed. She was very impressed with the work we did and questions we asked. We all enjoyed the ‘Flight from Famine’ experience.
