Nursery Caterpillars Make their Cocoons!
23rd May 2017
We have been observing our caterpillars very carefully over the last few weeks. We noticed they got bigger and bigger every single day. Over the weekend, when the nursery was very quiet they created their cocoons. We placed the cocoons in our butterfly garden and we are going to watch to see how long it takes for them to nibble a hole in their cocoons and appear. We are all very excited! Take a look at us creating our own caterpillars and working together to complete a large collage of a cocoon.
