Nursery take part in the RSPB Big Schools’ Birdwatch
31st Jan 2019
We participated in the RSPB Big Schools’ Birdwatch. We talked about the best place to hide so the birds wouldn’t see us. Harry came up with the idea of hiding in our sand hut or the play house. Rayna thought the little stick house would be a good bird watching hideout. We crept outside so quietly as we didn’t want to scare the birds away. We used our binoculars to watch carefully for any birds. We saw lots of different birds. They seemed to like our bird cake and bird treats. Mrs Ferguson recorded our results on the RSPB recording sheet and later submitted them to the RSPB website. It was a very exciting day.
