Our topic last term was ‘The Great Famine in Ireland’. To conclude it we made a famine cottage each. We white washed the walls, added a roof (made of various materials), a door and windows. Some pupils added their own extras to a garden. We are delighted at how well they turned out so we have put them on display in the school foyer for pupils and staff to see.
