P.6 pupils visited the Ulster American Folk Park last Friday, 6th May, to see for themselves what life in our country was like during famine times (1842-1852). We explored thatched cottages, churches, store houses, a school, a blacksmith’s forge, shops and log cabins. It was all very interesting and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
