Lough Neagh Discovery Centre staff visited our school to talk to the children in P.5, P.6 & P.7. We listened to a very interesting talk on 'Pollinators' and took part in a selection of different activities.
These included:
- Making potters, filling them with compost and planting seeds.
- Art and craft - making bees.
- Observing a virtual hive.
- Playing a pollination game.
The children thoroughly enjoyed their day in which they gained lots of new knowledge and had fun also.
