We have been learning all about rationing in World War 2. Mrs Hawe gave us a little bag of chocolate which we had to ration out for ourselves each break time for a week. It was hard to limit ourselves to only a very small amount every day! We don’t think we would like to have to ration our foods!
We also used our knowledge of weighing using scales to bake some WW2 ration style ‘Chocolate Oat Cookies’. They aren’t as tasty as cookies today but we were still able to enjoy them for a Friday treat!
