Spring Flowers at Nursery
17th Apr 2018
The boys and girls at Nursery created beautiful Spring daffodils. They were able to look at the real daffodils and create observational paintings. They created a large daffodil collage and worked as a team. We talked all about the different parts of a daffodil and how they bloom. We also created an arrangement of daffodils, cutting the stems and placing them in a vase with water. We then went outside to plant our very own daffodils, pansies and violas. We dug holes in the compost to place our plants into and then covered them with compost. We have to remember to water them everyday, and care for our plants, so they will grow.
