As part of our Shared Education work with Windmill Integrated Primary School we visited The Mac Theatre in Belfast. We saw 'Under the Hawthorn Tree' by Marita Conlon-McKenna. It was an excellent performance which we all thoroughly enjoyed. This ties in very well with our Literacy work on 'Significant Children's Authors' and our World Around Us topic of 'The famine in Ireland'.
