As part of our P4 weather topic, we were asked to find out which material would be best for making an umbrella for ‘Ted’. We had to make sure it was a fair test so we put the same number of water droplets on each material. Some materials let the water through, some ripped and some became very fragile. We all agreed the plastic was the best material for making an umbrella for Ted as it is a waterproof material.
