We have had lots of fun this week exploring the concept of a ‘half’. We enjoyed cutting a chocolate bar in half and sharing it out evenly. We have also explored how 2D shapes can be cut in half along their line of symmetry. We know that both halves have to be exactly the same. Today, we were learning about odd and even numbers by cutting our Numicon shapes in half. We know that odd numbers do not cut neatly in half while even numbers do!
