Primary 1 had so much fun celebrating World Book Day today! We enjoyed taking part in a whole school assembly this morning. Congratulations to Edie who won the prize for the best dressed child in Foundation Stage! We loved having some Primary 5 children read to us in the reading forest. Afterwards, we read ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ together as a class, sequenced pictures from the story and made caterpillar skewers with fruit! To finish the day, we spent some time sharing our favourite books with each other that we had brought in from home. It was a great day!
